Widow seeking PNSC John Schmeichel information Widow seeking PNSC John Schmeichel information

Susan Schmeichel's husband was PNSC John Schmeichel. He died of pancreatic cancer in 2008 (not shipboard fire related). He was the fourth person in his family to die of the disease. She is hoping to find people that knew John.

Gus Shipmate Health Support Group Started Gus Shipmate Health Support Group Started

Later life health problems may be coming from the activities aboard the Gus Boat. A "closed" group for only actual shipmates to share their conditions and treatments with each other, in the hope of getting better has been started on Facebook.

Come visit at:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=269506408522

When we share our conditions and treatments with each other, we may be able to handle our group's illnesses better. This is a place for sharing ideas and encouragement to all GusBoat sailors who may be suffering from injuries they received from then.
